Lynn is correct, the Loyd fan does blow. ISTR that when Bob first restored his Loyd and took it to a Bovington battle day, it had a 'normal' fan fitted. The dust it hoovered in to the engine and into the crew compartment was a real problem! I'm fairly sure he found or made a correct fan.
The parts list for the Starting and charging shows a very simple line drawing for the fan but it does show it as a blower.
