We had our annual fundraising M/V meet for the Gurkha Welfare Trust on Sunday. Amongst the stalls was an elderly man selling copys of his fathers wartime album pics. This one cost me a £5 and I think it was money well spent. His father is the corporal in the lead carrier and he belonged to the 8th. Bn, the Loyal Regiment and the pic was taken somewhere in the East of the U.K. in the early years of the war. John.
