Here are some others,

Where possible we used all the running gear, diffs, transfer case, gearbox, engine etc out of the monkey faced blitz since it actually still worked. At least one oddity of this is that the front diff has the larger 6" wheel knuckles/steering system, and seems to be of more heavy duty construction.
The Engine ended up that mixture of Ford Blue and army green because thats the colours we found, on all three engines. What colour were the wartime V8s painted when they rolled off the production line? The same colour of the vehicles?
