And a little bit of a PzIV Ausf.D
Had a wee bit of interest so I thought I'd share.
This was what started my interest in collecting militaria. A neighbour, a Rat of Tobruk no less, gave me this Panzer 4 ID plate back when I was 14 years old. He had many tales of North Africa which he shared with me. He has long since passed on, but his gifts are still treasured. According to the serial no. (80748) it is a PzIV Ausf.D. And since it served in North Africa it is one of only a handful.
