Hi All,
I have 2 pick axe heads. Both are marked D^D on them in the same spot. The only differences are as follows: 1 has a more flattened out digging half compared to the other 1 has extra markings- i believe it says: PLUMB AUSTRALIA 6 Sorry about the blurry photo ![]() Digging bit detail: ![]() D^D and PLUMB? detail: ![]() Is there any info out there on these? Are mine correct for a CMP- particuarly one that would be carried by an F15A or do they belong to something else? I have seen many other period photo and restored Australian ww2 and post war vehicles (bigger and smaller, tracked and wheeled) with these (or a modern replacement) fitted and i am just wondering if there is anything specific to which one goes with which vehicle or doesnt it matter and both are correct? Thanks, Ian.
