Thanks for all your input.

I think it is difficult when we have representations of something that are not quite right in some way.

People are free to call them whatever they want but in the end you can see that the word or words used all point to the same direction of "Not genuine" and that is the problem.

It wont be too many years before such subtle details will be lost and fact and fiction will blur into lore.

It is a touchy subject and I implore everyone to be careful.

On a personal note having been well and truly taken on a non genuine vehicle through a lack of research and knowledge and a whiff of the truth on the part of the seller I am very very touchy on the subject and will do all I can to ensure a replica is marked and displayed as such and not passed off as the genuine item.

Anyway, regarding this formerly British Army Ferret, does anyone have pictures of what it looked like before being made to look like a Canadian one? The military registration would be useful and those images may just show that.

There is another photo on the web of the same monument at some time that show damaged bins and poor paint. This looks like it has had a freshen up recently.

Anyway, to anyone who owns a Canadian Ferret it shows how keen folks are to display one.
