The D Series Dodge was approximately 1941 to 1945/6 powered with a 6 cly flathead Chrysler motor and most of the Aussie assembled one's had an Eaton two speed Diff fitted and came with both single and dual rear wheel models. The semi's and tippers were often SWB and the 3 tonner was the equivilent to your Chev and the Ford in the photo. Some Cowl/chassis units were made into the Indian Pattern Ambulances as well. ![]()
