			I took some measurements on a .50cal from a B17 which crashed in our neighbourhood. The .50 cal is displayed in a local museum. Lenght of the shroud is 605mm's measured from the muzzel end to the threaded part of the receiver. Hope this helps. Marco Hogenkamp
