Does anyone recognise this Bedford Armoured Vehicle? L 4332619 is in a batch to Contract V.4070 for "Lorry 30 cwt 4 x 2 A/Tk", so is it a rebuild on an OX chassis?

The OX vehicles were specially built for their role. Vauxhall had two contracts with a total of 950. The chassis was an OXA, Chassis and Platform for Armoured Car. Take a look at Bart's book, "Bedford and Vauxhall Military Vehicles", for more details. Richard |

Thanks Mr F! Seems that the OXD was the Truck variant...serial numbers ran OX 1001 in 1940 to 25429 in 1945 for all OX models.
