Default OMVA Meet

From the President to all OMVA members and guests who attended the meet in Scarborough at Dalton Armouries, a hearty thank you for your appearance and interest, especially those who dragged the "big rusty iron" long distances.
Rather than have "just a collection of jeeps" as was suggested, we had a cross section of vehicles in the hobby. It would appear the hobby has three types of members, the builders, the drivers, and the parts sellers. All are a necessary component and all turned out in good numbers. As near as last Thursday, when Peter Marshall and I loaded 25 tables and chairs and delivered them to the Armouries (Thanks Peter) using the OIC Armouries and his truck (Thanks Al) I had doubts wether the newest location would be a success. Thanks to you, it was great.
We had a couple of glitches but this will help us be better in the future.
Peter Simundson.

Sorry I didn't make it, but I had some personal business to take care of. By the time it was done, I would have been wandering around there on my own. Thanks to all who evidently made this a success in it's new venue, and I hope to see you later this year.

Peter, a MLU table would be a super way to promote the site.
What impressed me most was the number of new faces I saw at the new venue...

Peter, it would be my privilege, and I thank you for your invitation. But you have to know, what has made MLU what it is over the last eight years is not me, but our readership. I cannot, nor will not, try to take credit for that. I simply provided the platform to bring these people together from the four corners of this amazing world we live in.
