We have known the author for a number of years now as we live in the same village, he is quite prolific and I have a number of his publications.
It is nice to see the article, I wish though he would have used some up to date photos as she is now numbered and badged up correctly.

2TAF - 140 Wing
Another RAF Q2 Van photo, found by Mike Kelly in the State Library Victoria.
It is captioned: "A visit to an Australian Mosquito Squadron of the R.A.F. in Great Britain. Shows air crew on truck going to briefing. Date [1944?]" Seeing the markings on the tail gate, I reckon it is in service with the Second Tactical Air Force (2TAF) somewhere in NW Europe rather than in Great Britain?
