			Early Bedfords of about 1939-40 were on the civilian type wheels with dual rears, check out photos from Dunkirk 1940, and there were a lot of impressed vehicles taken into service at that time.

			So What are you saying Richard? Those front wheels with that center offset would leave a bigger gap between the rear tyres, which at least implies different wheels front to rear. How many holes in the civvy wheels? Six? (not the stud holes)
