Hi all, I am working on the electrical system and the generator I have has only 1 terminal. Would this be the correct generator or were they 2 terminal originally ? All my wiring diagrams show 2 terminals . If I were to stay with this generator would I just use a cut-out rather than a voltage reg. ? Thanks,Dave

By the way the single terminal is stamped "field" |

			Hi Dave,

This post on the Ford Barn may help. https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showthread.php?t=298848 Also in Ron Bishop's "Rebuilding the Famous Ford Flathead" if you have a copy there is a small section on the voltage regulation on the different types of Ford generators. Part number list in the book may help identify your generator. Cheers,
