Dodge truck West Indies.
 dear members identification concerning this Dodge 4x2 truck on Curacao somewhere around 1950-1952. Type specification, and technical info wanted??Any help appreciated once again!!

Evening Hans:
By the design of the grille and the lack of three bumper guards this should be a 1.5 tonne 4X2 of the 1950 year model, at least if it is of American specs. Since it seems to be LHD, I would suspect that to be the case. So far, I have not come up with more info but will keep looking Cheers Bill

Hans:
The emblem on the bonnet side just says Dodge. My "good" references on Dodge are primarily for the light duty models. However, a D1 is a 1/2 US ton, a D2 is a one US ton and I would imagine this is probably a D3 based on that logic. In US measures, 1000lbs is 1/2 ton, 2000 lbs is 1 ton and so on.
