A Couple of Canadian 1/48 Scale models

I keep awareness of WW2 alive by building scale models to tell the story. My current project is Royal New Zealand Air Force in South West Pacific where they used a mix of US and Commonwealth vehicles to support flying squadrons.

In 1/48th scale there is nothing from the Commonwealth side available in commercial kits so scratch building is required. Here are two of my recent builds; a Ford Crash Fire tender using a Canadian Ford chassis with a fire body added in New Zealand and a CMP C8.
