Thumbs up Old girl coming west!

Gentlemen: Despite the Canadian election tonight...and the out come and the fact that Osama Bin Laden is gone.....There's an old girl prototype coming out to B.C. It's the official last prototype Chev C8 HUW in the world. After 6 years of of restoration....and just about nearly there, a long time wait is about to be realised. God knows...its been a long drawn out process!

Question to the forum members??? The unit has to come from Lockport Manitoba (16 miles north of Winnipeg) to Vancouver B.C. AND YES ...pictures will be posted, if some one one helps me along.

Now listen....I am trying to dead head the truck to Vancouver, to keep the costs down (what else is new) and at this point, I'm open to contacts, joint ventures ...brain storming!! Many thanks to Terry Baumann(B.C.Blitz)

The seller of the unit has a couple of items to also sell, which are....

1943 Bantam 1/4 trailer
body work completely done
Needs painting, currently in Primer
All parts original....no repro parts!
Original Data plate plus a repro data plate
American Made in Butler Ohio
Original hitch
Tires 75% on original rims

Next item: One Rim and tire....off a Dodge Carry All 16 inch X 900 NDT

Next Item: A ww11 American Mine Detector in a Canvas back pack...NOS...comes with the canvas back pack, manuals and tools.

Next item: One Cab11/12 Gas Tank very good shape.....no holes.

Next item: One pair of WW11 American Walkie Talkies Model Number BC611F. in seriously, if not NOS shape.

Other than the prototype, the other Items are up for bid....sorry no pictures. Seller dosen't have that option. And if you are a serious collector.....?

Can arrange WW Shipping.....Robert

Congrats Rob. I know you have been waiting a long time to get her home. But I must say: We need to see photos of your truck.
