Hi; this Fox is/was completely restored when I bought it and now suffers from old petrol [gas] in the tank now. Also the series 1 J60 XK eng was improperly rebuilt, and I now have a series 3 core J60 from GB. When purchasing we went 55 mph on the Idaho freeways... great ride. Thinking of value? saw one advertised in Oregon for 78K USD. ??? Maybe $42 K USD more reasonable? I understand that only 48 or so of these vehicles got surplussed before the military decided to repurpose the turrets. Ideas welcome here. Photos later, Dave

Restored in Twisp, WA-Sold in Idaho and hauled to Oregon. Drove it a bit and then stored it inside a dry garage, now bad gas [petrol]. Take a minimum two man crew to drive it. Combat crew is three. J 60 4.2 Jaguar military engine powered. Serious inquiries only- this a a real piece of modern Armor, and not to be trifled with. $ 42,000 USD sold with Oregon State DMV Bill of Sale-Never titled. PM Dave N here for first contact. weighs 12,000 lbs for hauling. Extra J60 mkIII core engine included, manuals, much of the vehicle 'Kit', and one 30mm inert round.

The collection and restoration of Armored vehicles is the highlight of the Military vehicle hobby. Numerous examples do exist of famous large and small efforts of persons in this classification. In my service I drove Armored vehicles. Now only 5% of modern populations have stepped up and served their countries. Dave

Finally sold the restored Fox to a museum in Arizona. Crew operated vehicle too much for one man, not a solo vehicle. Dave

Threads merged and set to “sold”.
Good to hear you found a new home for it, Dave.

I previously mentioned my Fox sale; The ID is desired by some fellows; 09FD11 History trackers can now ID it. It was in an imported group of Fox. The Brit site HMVF was also interested. Dave
