3 Squadron RAAF site (with a CMP or two)

This image comes from the 3 Squadron RAAF site's photo page which has a couple of CMP pics along with many interesting shots of other vehicles and aircraft.
I grew up with a chap whose father was a 3 Squadron pilot flying Kittyhawks and Mustangs and who provided a couple of interesting pics such as this one:



On another note, I'll soon have the opportunity to interview a former CO of 3 Squadron, Bobby Gibbes, who went on to 457 Squadron flying Spitfires. The Temora Aviation Museum's Mk VIII is painted in his colours.
