Default HERITAGE COMMERCIALS magazine overseas?

This is not an advert or a For Sale post, but are there any members of MLU who would like to purchase HERITAGE COMMERCIALS, the British magazine, especially [only?] those copies with military vehicle history in it? If so then I will see what needs to be done. I have discussed whether a reprint of only the "Military Matters" sections going back to end of last year can be put together, or whether back issues can be ordered as a package.

Please let me know as it's interesting to see where British mags get to..obviously those overseas with copies will not want any!

Go to http://www.heritagecommercials.com/ and buy any back issue you like - that is what I did to buy the issues with CMP content. Somehat expensive to buy them issue by issue - a reprint of only the "Military Matters" sections would be welcome.

Then again, I must admit I was somewhat disappointed when I read the magazines, as apart from the pictures there was not really any new information on the few pages on HMVs. Some of it was erroneous ("CVT" instead of CGT) while other content had been clearly copied, almost word by word, from other sources (like my web page on the C15TA)

Default Books better?

I too spotted some typos including one that had my head needing sever scratching to work out what the text was supposed to say! I hope that my recent proof-reading on the Diamond T model review already published and now the recent Bedford QLR review that is in a forthcoming issue have eliminated glaring errors.

I have learned I think now that the forthcoming series of CMP books and their spawned books on other MVs must have all aspects thoroughly checked, point one, and point two, introduce new information or provide a point of reference. In the first book that I have written I have identified every single source of reference in the historical narrative. If the footnotes are not used in publication at least I have the source to hand for future historians/researchers.

I'm an old machinery (military vehicles, trucks, tractors, construction equipments) enthusiast, so I'll be interested in that magazine, apart from military or civilian trucks. I'll try to order a issue, to have a look at it. Which will be the issue with your article about the Bedford?
