Default '41 CMP markings?

Hello all,
An ingnorant latte sipping Californian here (not really, but that's our rep') with a Q regarding fender markings on a '41 (d.o.d. 11-11-41) Ford 8cwt 4X2 truck that appears to have original markings. Left front fender: white 10 on yellow square; right fender: white P on green square. Don't know post-war service history of this vehicle.
Any thoughts? Google has not been my friend on this, and one reply on a modelling forum thinks possible RCAF.
Many, many Thanks in advance.
If my deal falls thorough on this truck I will post here so it can hopefully be saved from becoming a firewood hauler....

Cheers!

Hi Tom: Can you post a photo? Might be able to figure out what you've got. Cheers! Mike
