Snowy Hydro Scheme vehicles
The NAA hosts some pics of ex Mil vehicles used during the construction of the scheme.

During the early days, some CMP trucks were used, but as the scheme progressed , newer vehicles were employed . I looked over two C15A ex SMA trucks years ago, the owner told me he had purchased them from the Snowy Hydro in 1952. I have pics of the Chevs somewhere , both still with the SMA logo on the doors.
The SMA purchased a large number of 1950 and 51 Land Rovers.
