WS-19 crystal calibrator dog bone
Well. I took the plunge and purchased the broken 6/6 crystal calibrator dog bone off of eBay. I justified the shipping by also purchasing the V adapter for my A side aerial. I’m going to try to restore it and will document my progress here, but first, I need to source the proper connector. I need one of these. If you can help I’ll be very grateful.

Good move, James.
Personally, I would now buy a 12-pin Calibrator Dog Bone, and harvest the full cable assembly from it. Restoring an original 6-pin unit trumps sacrificing a fairly common 12-pin. David |

That’s not a bad idea at all. Thanks.

you could also make your own. Buying this connector will give you the correct shell with locking tabs. The male insert is changable. The female insert is a Cinch S303CCT, lots on ebay.

James.
A couple of other things you will need to track down for restoring the 6-Pin Connector. One inch wide, black, cloth Electricians Tape. You won't find it in any hardware or electrical shop these days. Black plastic stuff is what will be on the shelves. However, you should be able to still find it in any Sporting Goods Store dealing with hockey equipment, being sold now as black hockey stick tape. You will also need to find a spool of thin cotton cord. Oh! I lied…a number '3' will be a small can of varnish. David |

Thanks Bruce and David. The new connector is on the way. I have plenty of the correct tape. As a bomb tech, I’ve used it extensively. I’ve sourced the cotton thread. I’ll get the varnish. A Ham friend of mine near Tinker AFB just to the south of me has the correct mesh shielding.
I need two other things if you can assist. I need a schematic or similar to show me which wire goes in which end of the plug, and the length of the power wire itself. Thank you!
