I believe this to be a early Ford CMP grill badge.
Condition is good +

Ford scripted with their V8 logo.

Most times missing so somewhat rare
Needs some repair to the retaining studs.

Mac's lists one for the 1940 car, but the one Bruce shows has the C in front. There might be a slight Canadian difference

oops, my mistake. I misread the number on the back of Bruces badge and you are right...same part number as the one on Mac's I mistook the 0 for a C.
