Default I need help with wine

We have a special friend that we would like to give some reasonably good wine to, as we don't drink wine are there any suggestions out there to help with this dilemma.

Default Wine v scotch

Max,
I would suggest a good single malt scotch whiskey over a good red.
I think you good friend would appreciate it more.

Default Bio Fuel

No takers yet Max?
Sorry, can't help you out.
Would have been more handy if you could run a V8 side valve or stove bolt 6 on it.

Max you have one of the best fine wine makers in your area. Brown Brothers. They make the worlds greatest Port. (IMHO) (BTW, my wine knowledge is up there with my brain surgery knowledge)
With only slight bias, New Zealand produces many great wines. Mills reef, Morton Estate, are a couple from near my home. There are many more around the rest of the country.
Picking up on selected blurb, Australasian wines are world beaters. Don't be afraid to buy local.
