Default Identify this! thread!

Here's another little mystery, with a couple of clues.

We can see by the tag and part number it is something from GM-H and it says it's a side light cover.

Does anyone have any idea what it might belong to?

t's painted khaki and I can't find the number in the parts books I have.

Default While you're at it...

...here's another little mystery.
It's diecast and must be military because it has the DD stamp. It is a spare spark plug holder threaded for the smaller type plug as used in the Chev engine.

Any ideas?

Default Identified

Keith, 5814160 is the shield that the wires to headlamp, side lamp and horn pass through after exiting the hull of a Canadian Fox armoured car. Oddly enough, I have the left one (see pic), but you seem to have the right one...which I need. You wouldn't want to send one of those back to Canada would you?

Default By George!

That is quite amazing and leads me to wonder why there are some here in Australia - I can only think they were supplied with the chassis sent here intended for our unsuccessful local version.

Wil send you a PM.

Default Here's something else which needs confirmation

This seems to fit the cab 12 Ford headlamps. I was wondering whether anyone can confirm this. If so I have a few available for $20 each.
