Hi all,
I am after any pictures of Aussie Army Haflingers, since there were only a small amount of them in service I am trying to locate a "in service" picture of mine, the vehicle I own is ARN 101 858. I know that it is a long shot, however I am also chasing an original Aussie Army canvas canopy for the Haflinger. Peter |

Try the Australian Army Survey Corps (I think they have been absorbed into another corps Engineers, Logistics???). They were based in Albury.
I think they were the main users of these vehicles. They were the only ones I saw operating them in my time in the Army. A bit like amphibious jeeps - when everyone saw them they just had to have one but once they got it they did not know what to use the damn thing for. Lang |

I think there are a couple of Haflingers at the Bandianna Army Museum (Albury-Wodonga area) still in service colours. MLU member Ian Pullen would know as thats his baliwick, may be worth giving him a PM.
Terrific little things. Rich.
