Default Photo of HUP Staff Car

I found this photo on a stall at War & Peace this year. It looks, by the registration number, and the background, as though it was take in eastern Europe. It appears to be one of the rare 'Staff Car' models with the sliding windows, round roof hatch and dropped running board to accommodate the two Jerry cans. Does anyone happen to know whether this vehicle is still around and/or who is the owner (slim chance, I guess)?
Cheers
James

Default C8A Staff Car

Hi James

Try a search for postings by Frantisek Nachlinger. He is a MLU Forum member from Czech Republic and occasionally posts about these late production C8A staff cars.

Hi phil, Brian,

Thanks for the advice. I have tried searching various combinations of Czech:HUP/Chevrolet/C8A but mostly get websites refering to 1/35th scale models. I will try Frantisek Nachlinger posts and see if he can shed any light.

Cheers
James
