Thought we would share a few more photos, we've been busy! Still a lot to do yet but well on track to be at the Cambridge Armistace Day display. A couple of questions, the rear horizontal plate with the cut outs for the exhausts under the half round shields, does the exhaust protrude through these cutouts as they bend back down or flush with the plate? The 3 toggle swiches on the dash above the main switch unit, what do they do & are thay common to all Mk1s? Cheers for now

Very nice work. Take her for a good long slow run, it will help loosen up those very tight tracks. Possibly in a field or farm pasture. Don't run it too fast till they loosen up, or they could break. Again very nice. You should have a lot of fun with it.

Thanks guys. Thanks for the pics Kevin. I think our main switch unit has one more position on it for the lights than your picture, off, tail, s&t & all from memory. Our English wiring diagram shows only the main light switch & doesn't mention the smaller toggle switches at all. Is it possible these toggles are a Canadian only feature? If not it seems weird that these light controls are doubled up? Your quite right about those tight tracks Ledsel, very difficult to get on! Our carrier has had a very hard hit in the front at some stage and bent the front idler mounts and mounting bolts back. The tracks have been shortened 1 link despite their good condition due to the bent idlers we guess, now that we have repaired all the damage the tracks are a bit on the tight side. I'm sure they'll loosen up fine.

Mine is a MKII, but one switch is for the dash lights and one is for the fuel gauge (left tank and right tank)
