Hi All,
Thought I would post my display of WWII anti-gas equipment I put on at the annual Military collectors club of Canada convention held here last weekend 3 minutes from my place.

It takes a certain degree of obsession to collect one of everything within a certain range of interest. Good for you!

There is no degrees involved with Derk. He is simply obsessed. He will eat Kraft dinner all winter to save money, have the house temperature set at 10°C, yet be buying these things off ebay and paying shipping from the UK.

Looks like there is enough for a book in the "UpClose" series by Service Publications.

Default Anti-gas equipment book

I am not smart enough to write a book but can definitely supply pictures to anybody willing to do the book. One is definitely needed as there are no books covering in detail the anti-gas equipment and it's uses.David Gordon's book on the Equipment of the WWII Tommy was a great help to me when I needed information and probably the best one out there but there is alot of information on development of marks filters, productions in Canada etc. yet to be told.Anybody willing to start a book would get my help as well as other collectors and their anti-gas items I am sure.
Thanks,Derk.
