Default Flimsy fuel can flex hoses/spouts 19 sets ect

I picked up a couple of the "horse Co*ks" for the square flimsy fuel cans.
Asking $50 each plus shipping...there is a little surface rust on them..but it can be cleaned off..if you need photos send me a PM with your emaiil address.
I also have a few of the mounting bars for the 19 Sets and some mounting straps, both lengths...and a few ariel cone shaped mounts...can't make it to any shows until June and my storage space is full..so I am offering them here

DO you have any of the #3 mounting straps for the WS19.

Ive got a #1 and #2 strap but can't use the #2 in my application. The PSU needs to go on top of the A/B set.

Dean, I'm interested in any of the antenna bases and straps or mounts that are required to mount the 19 set in a CMP, but I'm not sure exactly which are required. I, and probably some other MLU members are floundering around ebay looking for mounting straps and brackets but aren't sure of exactly which parts we need. I recently purchased a poorly described bracket off ebay in the hopes it would be one of the parts I need. It's a "MOUNTINGS CARRIERS No. 1 ZA 10316" and I as of yet haven't figured out what it's use is. Does anyone have a list and/or diagram of the bits and pieces required to mount the 19 set? In the mean time, I'd appreciate if you would email me pics of what you have Dean. Thanks. sapper740@grandecom.net

Hi Derek,

What kind and size of CMP do you need it for?

As to your carrier please confirm whether it's a ZA10316 or ZA10315.

sapper740, I sent you an email last night, I will get some photos to you in the next day or two, I picked up some more of the straps and more of the "mount carriers" yesterday..along with more ariel mounting bit...gotta sort them out and dig out the other bits I have for the 19 Sets that are in storage right now.
Too be honest, I know very little about these radios, I was just lucky enough to find the mounting parts on my travels

Here's some pix Dean sent me so I downsized and posted them. Now we can all figure out just what he has. One thing for sure there's lots of mounting brackets.
Just which brackets and straps would be needed to mount the set in a CMP? As for the aerial mounts, which type of aerial would the cones be for? I assume the cones and 6 holed plates go together.

Hi Bruce, the part is stamped ZA10316.
My CMP is licensed as a 1942 C15. It has the 13 cab, modified to Left-hand drive, and the frame was lengthened to give it a wheel base of 135 1/2". It had no box when I bought it but was told it was originally a Wireless van. Who knows?

Default Thanks Dean,

It seems the spout screws on to the threaded outlet.

It must have been slow to empty when you compare the CMP and UC funnels, which allow a can to be up-ended to drain.

Have you found any stampings like a broad arrow?

cheers
Rob

These horsecocks will also attach to the threaded spout on the bottom of the funnels.

Default Radio Straps...... replacement

I have a small quantity of 2.5 inch green webbing..... each about 40 inches in length. They are not the thickest webbing but might have the right look.
If interested..... small contribution to MLU will get you some.

I still have a few straps of differant lengths..I also just picked up a couple of 19 sets..and hardest of all to find a WW2 Canadian made and marked wooden 19 set radio tray with all the hardwear including the strap handles on each end with the wooden grips..I have never seen one of those before..and in near mint shape..contact me at northman@rogers.com and we can work something..
However I will have to ask for payment BEFORE I ship an item out to you...I sent out a few items to some others onlly to find out they cannot pay for sometime..if ever!!

Sorry about this..it took me by surprise.

I'd be very tempted by the mounting board, but suspect postage to England would
be prohibitive. 8-(>

If you send me photographs of the bits you've got, I'll do my best to identify
them and tell you what they're used for. (WS19 parts only, though!)

Best,
Chris.

Chris, I've been looking at my 19 set stuff and can't quite figure it out. I can see how the short strap will hold down the power supply but the holes on the set are made for the strap to pull the other way. My variometer looks like it just attaches to the power supply box.
Do you have any pix of the mounting board? It must be a few inches wider than the set by the looks of things It looks like it will just hook into the one end of the mounts and the spring loaded clips will hold on the other end. It'd be nice to get some measurements for the board.
There's a NOS 19 set on ebay now.19 set
The first pic I've posted is my stuff and the others are the ebay stuff.
