what an excelent base for a project ! i am green with envy ! is that a hole cut in the lower hull next to the rear bogey,or is it a trick of the light ? you are lucky the centre bulkhead and ducts appear unmolested. and you have some swanky looking sand guards too.....

looks like you will be riveting shortly then do you have any details on the numbers lower tub / armour etc etc ?

And dont forget there is pre-cut plate for sale around for the easy restoration.

Saw it at the OMVA show in Acton this February.

Ben and I have done a lot of work on drawings.
I am looking for a Good steering wheel, and he is looking for a good spare barrel box. Your thoughts.

I was wondering where the SHoC carrier had got to... Glad to see it is in good hands and being worked on...

Default Headlight

i picked up a Hedlight yesterday From My Brother. I had origional bought the light for $20 bucks in a surplus store 22 years ago . The head light was sold along with a 1942 CMP to my Brother .
The cmp is long ago sold but the light was sitting in a shed and had missed being thrown out as scrap 2 months ago . My brother was nice enough to save it for me but i had to come pick it up. In Prince George B.C. only a 530 Mile drive from my house. I drove up Tuesday after work and came back wed
I also found a leed on two ww2 Jeeps .
anyways
The Carrier I picked up from the Seaforth Highlanders is in Need of 1 Head light and now I have it.
I will have to modify it to fit the Carre Mounting Brackes but thats how it goes.

Before you modify anything, post in the for sale section. It seems like guys with mk2 carriers only find mk1 headlamp bodies, and mk1 carrier owners only find mk2. Maybe someone will be willing to trade.
