WW II Military Pamphlets
Open question. Hopefully some-one within this Forum (the knowledge data base of which is awesome to behold), can provide further information about the following publications:
These 13 or so pamphlets are identified as being Field Service Pocket Books, dated 1939, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, and are slim volumes of about 30 pp each. Sample titles are "Glossary of Military Terms and Organization in the Field", "Orders and Intercommunication", "The "T" Panel Code", "Billets, Camps and Bivouacs, Camp Cooking and Water Arrangements", " Discipline, Office Work and Burial Parties (!)"...and so on. Some pams have the "Not To Be Publlished" warning, others have the admonition "This Document Must Not Fall Into Enemy Hands" and "Not To Be Taken Into Front Line Trenches". Most of them indicate that they have been "Notified in A.C.Is for the week ending...... There are no War Office number references. Any info, any-one?

Hi all,
Field Service Pocket Book Pamphlets (PART I & II) that I have are the following. They normally come in a folder (red linnen cover, marked Field Service Pocket Book 1938. The contents vary with date of issue and unit in which the officer served. Since the are supposed to be in a folder, there is no cardboard cover.
