Default and....what is this one?

This was found in a box of old military parts... no idea what it might be
it has a small brass scale on it... a little light which must indicate some action or position,
the protruding portions of the "pin" are knurled and the pin itself is flattened in the middle
and looks like there was a C or D cell type battery in it !!!

its very solidly built, and heavy (!) about 8 inches roughly top to bottom

any ideas?

A crime is what it is!!!
The elusive Ford flathead timing fixture used on distributors for every Ford CMP, carrier etc. Made by Wasco.
I am lucky enough to have 2 NOS ones in my collection, recently aquired after many years searching.
If you want to part with it Marc let me know.

I'd be whining if I didn't have one already.

Marc, it will clean up to be a nice useful timing tool.
