Default Where to find Data on F15 ?

Where on the F15 should i be looking to find the data plate or information on my F15 ?

I have checked the Engine cover and it looks like that top data plate that was there has gone . is there anywhere else i can find data information on my vehicle ?

I will post up some photos soon

The "Data Plate" with the Serial Number, Engine Number and build date should be on the top or the side of the instrument cluster, or if it's a full Canadian Import, on the inner side of the Driver's door. The Serial number will not necessarily appear anywhere else on the vehicle, although it's possible that the Engine number has been stamped into the chassis rails, often the right side under the cab. Actual location varies in practice (IF it was actually applied!), so have a good look around.

The plates on the engine cover were generic instruction plates, you can see the different designs in This thread.

Tony i have the plates with the shift pattern and the engine firing order as well as the lubrication and the Front axle notifacation plate but the serial number, engine and build date seems to be missing , the truck is missing the doors .

Can you get new plates for the serial number/engine/build date ?

They are a three dimensional plate in a soft tin/zinc like material. Without the proper dies to stamp them out, it would be very difficult to reproduce.
