Going through that list , sort of makes me realise how many of them I have seen over the years .
'The Thin Red Line' was easily my favourite in the last 25 years , except for the overdone battle scenes , the tropical QLD countryside does look like Guadalcanal . 'Saving Ryans Privates' , great in parts , but overall the plot let it down for me , too out there . How many of you spotted the Austin K2 Ambulance KATY in 'Ice Cold in Alex' converted to 4X4 in some scenes ..... Saturday arvo matinee's at the local Hoyts were a highlight in the 1960's . Mike
