Default Suggestion Box

As it doesn't appear to have a slot for putting things into and it has provision for a padlock to keep it closed, my guess that it is a military suggestion box.

Hanno,

It is very similar in construction to lockers fitted to British trucks under the body. The lid would be on the side, ie; vertical. It does not appear to be very wide (width of lid), I would guess about 8 inches or 200 mm.

I have to agree with Richard as to me it looks similar to the underbody boxes on British and some Aussie trucks. Some of these were only 8 to 10 inches (200 to 250mm) wide. A lot were hinged at the top as well.

Cheers
Cliff

Looks very British to me . Like the locker on the drivers side seen on Morris CS8's ?

Can I have it Hanno ? It doesn't fit your Ford , its too classy for that .
