Default Albion AM463 RAF Refueller

Hello,

May I please ask with your help with an

Albion AM463 RAF Refueller

I am asking on behalf of a Russian flightsim developer, Mr Oleg Maddox, who would like to include this vehicle in his forthcoming Battle of Britain simulation.

In particular, line drawings and blueprint pictures would be most helpful.

Thank-you for any assistance you can give.

Ian

Default Suggestion

Matador Models do a model, and I wonder whether they had access to drawings?

I believe this came from an ebay auction. Unfortunately I haven't saved the url.

I think it must be in France ca.1940

Default Albion refueller

I recently bought the 1/48 Matador Models Albion refueller and I can tell you that they definitely did not have drawings to work from.

Too many errors to list but the cab and engine compartment are about 5mm to shallow in depth [ a scale 10" ], the wheels are, at best, an approximation, the tyres are the wrong type and the detail inside the pump section is ludicrous. I could go on, but won't.

When I complained, I was offered half the kit price back if I returned the kit, postage at my expense!

Default E mail

You could also e mail Paul Adams, co-author of ALBION OF SCOTSOUN, who is brilliant at identifying pre-war military Albions.
