Default CC#5 Thank You

I would like to thank everyone who attended this years event, as well as those who could not attend, but sent something along for the prize table !! This event wouldn't be what it is without the people. It was great to meet several new individuals this year as well as visiting with all the familiar faces.

We hope to get the website updated in the coming days with some pictures of this years event.

Once again thank you for supporting this event !!!

Jeff and Dan Caldwell

Default We are thanking you...

Hi Jeff.
We are thanking you ,Dan,"Dad the Cook" Caldwell and the whole Caldwell clan...and even the kids pitched in ...I still have my "work of art" painted popsicle stick sold to me by Dans 6 year old ,eye batting ,angelic ,snake oil selling ,super salesdaughter who quoted me "Five cents" for the work of art ,until she saw the quarter in my hand and changed the price faster than she could bat her eyes....
Needless to say ,I am the proud owner of the aforementioned stick....
The roast pig was amazing, and a whole roast veal should fit on that bbq next year...
this time we'll stuff it with canned beer....which explodes to tenderize the beef as the temperature rises....
Jeez I can taste it now....
When did you say CC6 was....???Next weekend..????
It was the best CC so far ,I think...
Book me for four for next year..

I concour with you Alex. I too, have my stick although I did suggest to the kids that they charge you a quarter for your stick! Thats what I paid em as I didn`t have a nickel in my pocket.
Anyhow, many thanks to Dan and Jeff and their helpers. I understand what it takes to put on an event like this having helped John Adamiak run his each summer as well.
Thanks to the hosts for their hospitality as well as thanks to those who received my new girlfriend in such a kind and friendly manner (especially those who utilized their best Quebecois language skills).
As always, put me down for next year.

Chris, I would be taking a closer look at this girlfriend thing. Were your fellow collectors extending the hand of friendship or handing her their numbers? Some of us lecherous old fools will try anything when there is a pretty girl around.
Cheers,
Barry

I was keeping a watchful eye. Mr Alexander was most enchanting, almost sickening LOL!
Mr Carere, with his excellent grasp of French language was equally well received as was Mr Caldwell. I didn`t know he spoke en Francais.
I know how you guys can be and it is fun watching you old fools act like youngsters!!!
