Greetings!

I bring great news from the Duke of Hammond, the King of Iron Oxide, the Earl of the East End - AKA Bob Carriere...

Bob's second annual CMP BBQ (BB1) will be held in Hammond Ontario 11-13 August 2006!

We are putting together a small program and plan on setting up a tent and trailer park (working on getting Ricky, Julian and Bubbles to join us), a display area and a liars pit.

I am donating a worn out C30 to the event to demonstrate the right and wrong ways of stripping a frame down to its component parts, which will be made available for sale or trade.

We have a fairly dry field in which we will set up two large tents - one for ablutions the other for food prep/eating and administration. Thunder boxes will be provided, but you may wish to bring your own TP...

Note that this is a BYO event - bring your own:

rats.
booze,
mil vehicle and artillery (we have some expertise out our way),
squeeze or squeezes,
tents,
comforts, and
necessary toiletries.

Limited electrical service will be provided along with a water point. Tours of Bob's barn, the local area and a trip to the Cdn War Museum are being planned.

Some food will be provided at nominal cost - hell, road kill is free...but propane ain't!

So, if you are in the Ottawa area in mid August, make it a point to come out to BB1.
