Hello,
there is an ad on kijiji Saskatchewan for a 1938 military truck. It appears to be a CMP Chevy prototype. Same as the photo on page 16 Bluerprint for Victory. The only difference being the Gregg photo has tear drop headlights while the for sale Chevy has the standard headlights seen on Cab 11's. Rear body is gone but the rest of the truck seems in good shape. No price listed, contact seller only. This would make a great restoration job and preserve an example of Canadian military history. Right Grant that is the one. $10 000 for it is a bit of a stretch to me.

It would be a shame its price prevents it from ever getting restored. I think there's a real risk of exactly that.

It's just money....the government will give you more Bruce. But trucks like that don't come along very often.
