Default Water test

I've shown the picturen before, but new members might get a laugh.

This was taken in 1973 when everything was an adventure, and a puddle by the side of the road was something to have fun with.

Keith,

If that was a Ford, it would no doubt have spluttered to a halt seconds after the photo was taken

Richard

Just noticed the sack up the front of the grille......did it work?

I can't remember why Tony put the blanket there - I think possibly he hadn't put thermostats into the cooling system and it was running cold.

I don't think it stopped, even though the lower splash panel was missing. In fact, I have yet to see one on a Ford - they're one of those disposable things people never seem to replace. I have a couple of NOS ones.
