Default Wedge cap
Can anyone explain the red trim in the front fold of this wedge cap. The trim appears original, the cap is dated 1943 and came from a Canadian second war veterans estate. There was no cap badge.

I believe the red at the front was for Cadets.

It is Army Cadets.
