Default Cab13 rain gutter

Just looking for the length of the rain gutter that runs along the bottom of the roof edge over the door.

I also understand that there is another piece that acts as a "stop" or "sealer" for the side curtain. Can someone please give the length of that one as well.

Thanks

Default I had them made at local sheet metal shop

Hi Jordan

When I need them for Pat 13 C60S and the HUP had them made up at a local sheet metal shop, probably cost less than having them shipped. Will try and find the dimensions and drawing and post them.

Bigger issue is attaching them and sealing them. Originally they were pinch welded which unless all the steel is bare and clean is hard to do. If I was doing it now think would do as Bob and others at Hammond Barn suggested and use the adhesive used on door skins.

Cheers

I made up the rain gutter last night. Today I'll be making up the other one. I've got a sample of each to work from. I just don't have the length of them.

Im planning on plug welding them in place. Then I'll soak the POR15 into the gutter to seal the seems.

Hi Jordan

When I responded I had miss read your request thought you were looking for a length of gutter and sealer.

Just went out and measured both HUP and C60S Pat 13:

Gutter (C60S) 39 5/16 of an inch, extends from the front of the windshield post to 1/2" past the back edge of the door frame. The stops/sealer on both HUP or C60S is 36 3/4 inch long, it falls just a little short of both ends of the door opening.

Did find my old drawing of the sheet metal I had made up at one time as you can see from the condition of the drawing it was a few years ago.

Default Phil

At least you can still find your way back to your old stuff! I've run out of bread crumbs and twine!
