Australian Dodge in army service
Following on from the recent threads relating to Chrysler MCP vehicles, I came across this pic of a Dodge ute in Australian army service , looks to be a 1940 model. I may have uploaded this pic previously.

Nice one Mike, the driver thought nothing of putting this civilian vehicle to the test to see if it coule perform as an army truck!

The DODGE ute pictured is listed among a large group of vehicles arranged in no particular order, including many pre-war trucks of 1938 vintage , maybe these were civilian vehicles impressed into military use. Some have been fitted with gas producers.
