Default Experimental Universal Carrier

This photo was taken in 1980 when I visited John Belfields collection before he moved to his current location. I understand that this carrier was modified during WW2 but never completed. Looks as if it may have been a rush job to get into production as the suspension setup looks decidedly clumsy and additional armour and turret look quite basic.

Does John still have this carrier? If not, where is it now?

Hi Stuart

Well, the carrier wasn't there anymore when I visited John in Summer 2005. I think I photographed every "scrap metal" which was lying there. Probaly Keefy can bring some light into it...

Greetings
Chris
