This photo was taken in 1980 when I visited John Belfields collection before he moved to his current location. I understand that this carrier was modified during WW2 but never completed. Looks as if it may have been a rush job to get into production as the suspension setup looks decidedly clumsy and additional armour and turret look quite basic.

Well, the carrier wasn't there anymore when I visited John in Summer 2005. I think I photographed every "scrap metal" ![]() Greetings Chris

Lynn you are quite right it is at the Museum in Puckapunyal, but is in the graveyard waiting ? any one know the history?
