Default Omva Fall Show Location Changed

Hello Folks

BAD NEWS...We have been bumped at the last minute as the Military are using the Cartier Drill Hall.

No fear i have found a new location.

The Show is now at the Royal Canadian Legion in Kanata
70 Hines Rd Kanata 08:00- 13:00 hrs.

This is only 20 minutes from downtown.

There are three hotels in Kanata
Comfort Inn 1-800-523-8620
Kanata Holiday Inn 1-888-465-4329
Coutry Inn and Suites 1-888-201-1746

There are other hotels in Old Ottawa & Nepean to the east and Carleton Place to the west.

Contact me if you wish to have a table.

Please pass on the new location to those interested in attending.

Thanks

Eric

Default New old trucker in Ottawa checking in

I hope to be there. Alex B and I live close enough that one of us will be driving. I'm looking forward to meeting some of the Ottawa guys.

Just dragged a 1970 M38A1 CDN3 home from Toronto area (and pissed off a few thousand drivers on 401 and 416 whilst doing so ). CFR 70-08876 and apparently ex Queens York Rangers. Will be researching a wish list of parts to bring it back to 'recce squadron condition'. But not working on it over the winter.

Actually fellas, I am trying to be cautious with the amount of personal information posted on the 'net. The new term is 'pers sec' for personal security.

There is a real threat that someone with time on his hands will connect me and my job and my whereabouts to my family, and intrude upon their comfort. So, if Alex can edit out those personal details, the forum will just have to tolerate me as a low-lying visitor who does have a name but not much of a public personality.

How that..??
Now edit you own posting.

Thumbs up OMVA Fall show

Your in luck. there will be a guy coming up from MTL with M38A1 take off parts for sale.

There will be breakfast and coffee available at the Legion before the bar opens up at 11:30. There will also be a pipe band entertaining us.

OK, now don't be lazy... if you're going to issue a Gracie's Call, use a separate thread to avoid confusion!

Jif
I don't make the call..It is up to our entertainment chairman...and he has it under control as per PM,he and me...
I'm sure when he has our ducks lined up, the call will go out under a separate thread with Gracies in the thread head to facilitate the search engine.
So Capt....put a cork in it....It is under control...and don't forget your bumper pennant this time...
I'll be expecting your itinarary by PM when the call goes out.
