Default M38 CDN jeep

When I went to the Three-Rivers Regiment museum today, they had this vehicle on display. It says that it is a 1952 M38 CDN jeep.
Anybody know about the markings?

The gold maple leaf on red is the Canadian First Infantry Division (I think). But On the M38 I think it should be on the L/H lower windscreen. The 14 would be the tac sign and should be on the R/H Lower front windscreen and on the left rear bumperette.

The Hood Number (Rare for it to be on the hood for an M38) it was usually on the side bottom of each doorway.

These numbers are the CAR or CFR Canadian forces assigned number.

52 is year
30 is 1/4 ton truck
982 is the vehicle number

Good article on this in ARMY Motors #95
