Bedford QLT Observation hatch

Can anybody give me any information about this 'hatch' in the front part of the canvas roof please. I cannot find a photo of it, so whilst I know it's there I don't know what it looked like from above or what size it was/is. If someone has photos of the 'hatch & fittings I would be grateful.
