Hi Keith
Yes i saw those on the australian pictures, the first two are based on civilian Ford 7V 2 tonners probably tipper chassis the same would apply to the bedford. As you say super photos crying out to be modelled, think i,ll try my luck.

Keith,

The Bedford would appear to be based on the WH model, a derated 2 tonne. Note the rear axle is designed for twin wheels.
Also export models carried the "British Bedford" badge on the bonnet.

Here is another from Pictures Australia. 'Sydney Harbour Bridge Cellebrations 1932'

It shows a 6 wheeled gun tractor with limber and gun.

Could this be a 1932 Ford M/H? :EDIT mud guards are the wrong shape and the truck appears to be earlier then 1932.

cheers

Good morning guys
I gather this thread is going to blossom into early gun tractors so i might as well join the queue.
Photo 1 the Morris Commercial/Roadless, 30 completed for use in India, never seen a photo of one in use there.
2. Thornycroft 3 ton 6x4 basically an adapted cargo in use with a 3" anti aircraft gun.
3. As 2nd photo could this be in India.
4. Guy prototype 8x8 tractor, MWEE number is 249 army reg T 21473 max speed 20 mph, if you were lucky

Hi Max,

Thought you might like to see a pic of the only known surviving Hathi that is in the REME Museum.
