Default Motorcycle Ambulance

There are a number of photos of this type of equipment floating across the internet these days, attributed to the 1920’s and 1930’s, but most appear to be of a Harley Davidson vehicle frequently referenced from 1927 and bearing the same Plate Number on the front fender. Two photos attached.

It may well be this was a marketing prototype used by Harley Davidson to drum up sales and it went through various modifications targeting specific markets.

What is not showing up on the Internet, is whether this type of ambulance ever made it into Military Service anywhere, pre, or early World War Two.
